Employee Verification Background Check – Current/Former Employment Verification

We manually perform each employee verification background check. First we verify that the provided applicants’ previous employer contact information is correct. Then we make three attempts (one per business day for three consecutive business days) to establish contact with the applicants’ previous employer. The price ranges from $15 to $20 per employee verification background check and an additional $18 fee will apply to orders when we are required to use The Work Number by Equifax. We offer volume discount package pricing for monthly billed customers.

Employee Verification Background Check Details:  Turnaround Time: This is a non-instant verification check and typically takes 2-3 business days to complete.  Price: $15 to $20 per employee verification check.  Coverage: Each employee verification background check verifies one previous employer.  Results: Verification of the employment information from the previous employer.

The employee verification background check provides verification of current or former employment.

Employee Verification: With the employee verification background check we attempt to verify the applicant’s current or former employment. We ask the following questions: start and end date, eligibility for rehire, job title, salary, and reason for leaving. We also include the call history and the contact information which may include the name, title, and phone number of the verifying person. The verifying person is usually a Human Resources (HR) staff member from the former employer.

Employee Verification Plus: The employee verification plus verifies the employment history as described above and also asks up to 5 questions such as a job description and record of attendance.

                             
                       

Before you can order an employee verification background check, you must be approved for a monthly billing account. Since this is an add-on service only, you must first place a criminal check prior to a employee verification. When placing your criminal check order, you will need to enter the Name, DOB, SSN, and Address of the person you are screening.
